Beluluane companies come together for Natal Solidário

MozParks, in partnership with the Matola-Rio Municipal Council, the Administrative Post of Matola-Rio and local community leaders, joined this year’s edition of Natal Solidário — an annual programme dedicated to honouring and supporting elderly members of the community.

The gathering brought together local authorities, partners, as well as representatives of companies based at the Beluluane Industrial Park, who helped make this event a success, namely Midal, Laresh, Nat Africa,  RA International, Outotec, Darling, Fesco, ETG, Bosch, and Hencon.

Abdul Gafur Issufo, President of the Municipal Council, stated, “The elders are a mirror of all of our future, for that reason it is important to care for them and their health.”

As part of Natal Solidário, elderly participants, including residents of the Beluluane Elderly Home, were honoured through cultural performances, messages of encouragement, and moments designed to celebrate their resilience, wisdom, and continued role within the community.

Representing MozParks, Director Onório Manuel stated, “We believed it was important to visit our elders before the year’s end and to spend time with them. Everything we brought comes from the heart. Thanks to the generous support of several companies within the park, we were able to provide food and essential supplies. We want the community to know they are not forgotten, and we look forward to continuing this tradition in the years to come.”

MozParks expresses its gratitude to all partners, participants and community leaders who made this edition of Natal Solidário memorable and reaffirms its commitment to community-driven initiatives that uplift and support citizens across all walks of life.

Practical Skills That Matter: Inside MozParks’ Workshop with CIN

At Beluluane Industrial Park, machines, materials, and people work side by side every day — but the quality of any industrial operation always comes down to one thing: skills. Not once-off skills, but skills that evolve, sharpen, and grow with the industry itself.

That’s exactly why MozParks hosted a three-day, hands-on workshop with CIN, bringing together park tenants for an intensive dive into one of the most essential (and often underestimated) parts of industrial work: surface preparation and finishing.

Participants learned how to identify the right materials for different environments, understand coating systems, and prepare surfaces properly before any application begins. CIN’s specialists demonstrated each step, from cleaning and sanding to corrosion treatment, priming, and final finishing — and then guided participants as they tried the methods themselves.

Across the three days, the training revealed something simple but important: small improvements in preparation lead to major improvements in results. Better techniques reduce rework, extend the lifespan of structures, and help teams work more efficiently.

We are happy to have had CIN partner with us in this activity and create a space where people could experiment, ask questions, test materials, compare results, and walk away with skills they could use immediately in their daily work.
