Delegation from Cabo Delgado seeks experience at Beluluane Industrial Park.

Today, a delegation from Cabo Delgado conducted a working visit to the Beluluane Industrial Park in the district of Boane, Maputo Province.

The delegation led by the Secretary of State in Cabo Delgado province, António Njanje Taimo Supeia, intended to seek experience in the management of industrial parks.

The delegation, which in addition to the Secretary of State included the President of the Provincial Assembly, Francisco Loureiro and the Assistant Secretary of State, Sergio Sauale, intended to learn about the challenges of the activities that the Beluluane National Park has been developing in the context of the response to the implementation of another Industrial Park in the northern province of Mozambique.

The delegation was received by the General Manager of MozParks Holding Group, the entity that manages Beluluane Industrial Park.

During the meeting, Onorio Manuel, spoke about the activities, management and challenges of Beluluane Industrial Park, as well as the projects of MozParks Holding in the industrial sector in “Mozambique.

“Beluluane Industrial Park is managed by MozParks Holding, the same that has just opened another industrial park in Cabo Delgado province. Therefore, this visit comes as a way to exchange experience on how it works here in Maputo,” explained Onorio Manuel.

During their stay in Maputo, the group visited Midal Cables, Beleza Godrej Group, Capital Star Steel S.a , Duys Moçambique and Royal Foods Aust Pty Ltd | Food Solutions.

Kenya has a growing number of successfully operating SustainableEconomicZones. MozParks is looking forward to the possibility of a business exchange with Kenyan SEZ operators and investors.

A delegation from the Kenyan High Commission to Mozambique visited the MozParks Beluluane Industrial Park (BIP) this morning.
Kenyan High Commissioner, Paul Ndungu, together with  Dorcas Bungei and Gregory Obara were greeted by the MozParks team and introduced to BIP and its services.

The guests visited Midal Cablesand  Duys Moçambique viewing their industrial production sites which are located at BIP.

Onorio Manuel, General Director at MozParks , presented the MozambicanWay of development and operating #SEZs in #Mozambique, which raised huge interest with the High Commissioner of Kenya.

Mr Ndungu was impressed by the services MozParks provides to its industrial tenants. He offered to be the MozParks’ ambassador in #Kenya and promised to come back with a Kenyan business delegation a few months later.
