Maputo, Mozambique – Following the successful Arab Investment Forum held in Maputo last week, a delegation from the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa (BADEA) visited Beluluane Industrial Park and MozParks to explore ongoing projects and future investment opportunities.
The visit provided the BADEA representatives with a firsthand look at the developments within Beluluane Industrial Park, one of Mozambique’s key industrial zones managed by MozParks.
Onorio Manuel, General Director of MozParks, expressed his enthusiasm for the visit, stating: “We are delighted to welcome BADEA to Beluluane Industrial Park. This visit highlights the fruitful outcomes of the Arab Investment Forum and strengthens our growing relationship. It is an excellent opportunity to showcase our projects and discuss future collaborations that will drive sustainable growth and job creation in Mozambique.”
During the visit, the delegation, which included Tshepelayi Kabata, Senior Technical Advisor to the President of BADEA, and Cedrick Montetcho, Chief of Business Development at BADEA, had the opportunity to visit several companies within the park, such as Midal Cables, ETG Steel Solutions, RAXIO Data Centre, and Duys Moçambique.

They acknowledged MozParks’ success in attracting international businesses as the company offers added value to the investors, as companies within the park can focus on their core activities while MozParks manages their operational needs.
BADEA expressed their interest in initiating discussions with MozParks and the park companies to address various interests and explore potential financing solutions in Mozambique’s trading and industrial sectors.
MozParks will continue to foster strategic partnerships and drive initiatives that promote sustainable industrial growth and economic development in Mozambique.
