Currently MozParks is operating industrial parks in Maputo and Nampula Provinces. Our vision is expanding our park in the Northern Provinces contributing to the regional development and growth. We offer the best entry to the Southern African Development Community, Asian and European markets. We are located in one of the most industrialised and productive regions of Mozambique and have access to the biggest industrial workforce in Maputo Province. MozParks is home to South32's Mozal Aluminium Smelter, the second biggest aluminium smelter in Africa.

We represent almost 30% of industrial employment in the Maputo Province and approximately 5% on a national scale.

 

Beluluane Industrial Park

The Beluluane Industrial Park is located in the South of Mozambique and sits only 2km away from the main highway and 20 km from the port. It is only one hour’s drive from the South African border, connecting Mozambique to South Africa’s main economic, industrial, agricultural and mining hubs of Mpumalanga, Limpopo and Gauteng Provinces.

Topuito Industrial Park

Topuito Industrial Park is situated in the Northern Province of Mozambique around the Kenmare heavy sands, one of the world’s largest mineral sand producers.  TIP is organised to host Kenmare suppliers & other service providers including SME village, agro-processing, Bio-fuel residential and other multisectoral business opportunities. 

Parks in Development

MozParks is developing four industrial parks in the Montepuez, Balama, Ancuabe and Palma districts, known as Cabo Delgado Parks (CD Parks), a joint initiative with the Cabo Delgado Provincial Executive Council that will form a hub for industrial and social development in the province.

MozParks aims to ensure growth in the industrial sector, support for local content and local communities with internships, job creation, agro-processing, and entrepreneurship by developing parks within every province of Mozambique.

Moz Parks is a Public-Private-Partnership between the Mozambican Government Agency for Investment and Export Promotion (APIEX) and Swiss-Mozambican Investors. APIEX was created in 2016 to promote and facilitate investment, bringing together the promotion of public and private investment and exports. The role of APIEX is to support the Mozambican business environment, optimise resources and create greater synergies in areas that impact the country’s economy.
