MozParks Topuito Agro-Industrial Park (TIP) received the Environmental Operational License from the Land, Environment and Rural Development Department (Direcção Provincial de Desenvolvimento Territorial e Ambiente) of the #Nampula Province yesterday, 16th August. It replaces the initial license for installation and commences the new phase in the TIP’s development for the next 5 years.
The construction of phase 1 will be completed by the end of next week. The first warehouse units, residential accommodation blocks and administrative buildings will be ready for functioning. The TIP will be ready to welcome its first tenants to the industrial sites, provided with water and electricity supply, road network and other infrastructure.

Sunshine Nut, a manufacturer of processed cashew nuts in Mozambique, received a national award as the 2021 Revelation of the Year. Don Larson, CEO and Founder of Sunshine Nut, accepted this honour at the opening ceremony of FACIM 2022, the 57th Mozambique International Trade Fair, yesterday, 11th August.
Sunshine Nut contributes significantly to agro-processing industry in the country supporting domestic nut-growers, creating jobs in manufacturing and delivering cashew products to consumers. The company also supports vulnerable women and orphaned children as a part of their social responsibility duty.
