At MozParks, we deeply value our partnership with the Government of Mozambique, as together we drive industrial development and long-term economic growth. This collaboration is central to strengthening value chains, boosting exports, and creating new jobs across the country.

This week, we had the honour of welcoming the Minister of Economy and Finance, Basílio Zefanias Muhate, for his official visit to the Beluluane Industrial Park. Visits like this are more than symbolic, they provide vital opportunities to align priorities, showcase tangible progress, and reinforce our shared commitment to transforming Mozambique’s economy.

During the visit, the Minister toured several strategic factories inside the park, including Midal, and Beleza which is  currently our largest employer with over 3,000 staff. Each stop offered a firsthand demonstration of the industrial capacity, investment models and job profiles that are being developed within Beluluane Industrial Park.

Minister Muhate highlighted the importance of strong public-private collaboration and reinforced the critical role industrial parks play within Mozambique’s economic strategy—echoing our belief that sustained cooperation is essential to scale impact and expand industrial development nationwide. Building on our successful management of both Beluluane and Topuito Industrial Parks, we have now been mandated by the Government to develop and oversee more than 20 additional industrial parks across the country. We aim to replicate the success of these parks throughout Mozambique, attracting new investment, growing industrial capacity, and creating thousands of new jobs for Mozambicans.

“Beluluane is a strong example of how industrial parks can transform communities by generating thousands of jobs and supporting tens of thousands of families. Our mission now is to extend this impact across the country. It was a privilege to welcome the Minister and share our vision. With continued collaboration between Government and the private sector, we can accelerate industrial development and bring lasting benefits to Mozambique.” said Manuel
