Maputo, 2 September 2026 –A German business delegation representing more than 20 companies, chambers of commerce and economic institutions visited MozParks – Beluluane Industrial Park as part of a business mission to Mozambique organised by the Chemnitz Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Germany and the Chamber of Mines of Mozambique.
The mission takes place in the context of the 61st edition of FACIM and the commemoration of 50 years of diplomatic relations between Mozambique and Germany, bringing German businesses and institutions closer to investment and partnership opportunities in the Mozambican market.
Hosted by MozParks, the visit to Beluluane Industrial Park provided the delegation with a closer look at Mozambique’s industrial environment and the opportunities available for German companies interested in investing, establishing local operations, developing partnerships and accessing markets in Mozambique and the wider region.

The delegation was introduced to the MozParks industrial park model, the infrastructure and services available at MozParks – Beluluane Industrial Park and the opportunities emerging through the development of industrial parks in different provinces of Mozambique.
The visit also highlighted existing links between German cooperation, German industry and the development of Beluluane Industrial Park. German financial cooperation through KfW supported the rehabilitation and expansion of the Beluluane electricity substation, increasing its capacity from 20 MVA to 80 MVA and strengthening the reliability and quality of electricity available to companies operating in the Park.
Reliable energy supply is an important factor for industrial investors, particularly manufacturers and other energy-intensive operations, and forms part of the infrastructure available to companies establishing their operations at Beluluane.
“German cooperation has contributed to important infrastructure in the Park, while German companies are already operating here. The opportunity now is to build on that foundation and bring more German investment, technology and industrial partnerships to Mozambique,” said Onório Manuel, CEO of MozParks.
Beluluane Industrial Park is Mozambique’s largest industrial park and today hosts more than 70 companies operating across a broad range of sectors and supporting more than 10,000 jobs. Its location in Maputo Province, with access to the N4 corridor, the ports of Maputo and Matola and the borders with South Africa and Eswatini, provides companies with connectivity to domestic and regional markets.
The visit to Beluluane formed part of the wider programme of the German business mission, designed to connect German companies and economic institutions with Mozambican businesses, investment opportunities and potential partners.
