Heavy rains in the #Maputo province caused widespread flooding and massive damage two weeks ago. This left many households in need of basic emergency supplies.
MozParks and the partner companies at the #BeluluaneIndustrialPark provided the second batch of humanitarian aid to the #Boane district communities. Approximately 350 families, currently accommodated in a shelter center, received much needed 5 tonnes of food and personal hygiene products.
This charity event was led by Neyde Parruque, the spouse of the Governor of the Maputo Province; Jacinto Loureiro, mayor of the Boane municipality; and Guilhermina Gaspar, district administrator.
