The President of the Republic of Mozambique, Daniel Chapo, made his first official visit to Beluluane Industrial Park. This was a crucial visit that underscored the role of industrial development as a driver of economic transformation and job creation.
One of the key moments of the visit was the tour led by our General Director, Onório Manuel, to Beleza, the park’s largest employer, as well as the launch of ETG Steel Solution’s new steel pipe production line. These moments highlighted the diversity of sectors operating within the park.
The visit also emphasized MozParks’ expansion strategy, which aims to develop 20 industrial parks across Mozambique, with at least one park in each province. This expansion is expected to directly impact thousands of people, create over 200,000 jobs, and generate new business opportunities for surrounding communities.
“Beluluane Industrial Park represents what we want for our country. It is the model of industry we aim to replicate nationwide, empowering youth through job creation and generating tax revenue for the state,” stated President Chapo.
Onório Manuel emphasized the importance of collaboration: “This visit shows what is possible when the public and private sectors work together. Our model fosters inclusive growth, attracts investment, and creates opportunities for our youth, starting here in Beluluane and expanding to every province.”
At MozParks, we remain committed to driving economic growth and job creation, empowering youth, and collaborating in such initiatives that bring industrial opportunities not just to Maputo but also other provinces across the country.
