Inhambane Parks initiative is set to contribute to job creation and business opportunities.

MozParks recently took another significant step in advancing the government’s mandate to develop 20 industrial parks across Mozambique, with at least one in each province, ensuring that surrounding communities directly benefit from these projects.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between MozParks and the Provincial Government of Inhambane for the launch of Inhambane Parks, an initiative that will boost the province’s economic growth through the development of one industrial park in Inhassouro and another in Jangamo.

The project is set to generate wide-ranging benefits for Inhambane, from creating new business opportunities across the province while also generating jobs for the youth. At the signing ceremony, Francisco Pagula, Governor of Inhambane, emphasized:

“This agreement marks a decisive step towards the industrialization of our province. These parks will serve as a platform for business integration, creating opportunities for our youth and unlocking the economic potential of Inhambane.”

Echoing this vision, MozParks´ CEO Onório Manuel stated:

“Inhambane Parks is more than infrastructure. It’s a catalyst for inclusive growth. Together with the Provincial Government, we will deliver facilities and services that enable businesses to thrive and communities to prosper.”

MozParks remains committed to driving initiatives that foster sustainable economic growth, industrialization, and job creation across the country through the development of inclusive and future-ready economic zones.
