MozParks – Beluluane Industrial Park (BIP) is increasingly showing how Mozambique can connect local production, technology, manufacturing and exports within one structured industrial platform.
This was highlighted during the visit of the Chargé d’Affaires of the United States Embassy in Mozambique, Abigail L. Dressel, to Beluluane Industrial Park, where she met with Onório Manuel, CEO of MozParks, and visited companies operating inside the Park. The visit focused on the role industrial parks play in supporting Mozambique’s industrialization, job creation, investment attraction and long-term economic growth.
As the first and largest industrial park in Mozambique, BIP has become an important base for companies operating across agro-processing, technology, manufacturing, logistics and services. The Park provides serviced industrial areas, utilities, security, operational support and a business environment that allows companies to invest, operate and grow.
The U.S. Embassy’s delegation visited companies operating in BIP, including RAXIO and Sunshine Nuts, a U.S. company and one of the major exporter of Mozambican cashews to the United States, reflects the potential of agro-processing, local value addition and export-oriented production in Mozambique.

RAXIO, a mozambican data centre company owned by U.S investors, is helping expand Mozambique’s digital infrastructure and supporting the growth of the technology sector. Its decision to operate from Beluluane also reflects the importance of reliable industrial infrastructure, including the stable power supply required to run data centre operations and serve clients without interruption.

“Beluluane Industrial Park shows that when companies have access to reliable infrastructure, utilities, services and operational support, they can invest with more confidence and create real value in Mozambique,” said Onório Manuel.
The visit opened space for continued dialogue on trade, investment, local content, and opportunities for U.S. companies in Mozambique. The parties discussed the planned Mozambique–USA mission to Houston and Washington, D.C., from August 3–6, 2026. The mission will be led by the Confederation of Business Associations of Mozambique (CTA) to showcase business opportunities from both countries in mining, oil and gas, energy, finance, agriculture, technology, logistics, infrastructure, manufacturing, and many more.
The objective of the mission is to motivate U.S. and Mozambican companies to establish joint ventures and increase imports and exports on a win-win basis. While in the U.S., the mission will include a site visit to a campus in Houston hosted by ExxonMobil.
MozParks remains committed to developing sustainable industrial parks across Mozambique, creating the infrastructure and business environment needed to support private sector growth, attract investment and generate long-term economic impact.
