We had the pleasure of welcoming His Majesty King Mswati III of the Kingdom of Eswatini to Beluluane Industrial Park during his official visit to Mozambique.
His Majesty was received by MozParks General Director, Onório Manuel, who presented the park’s growing contribution to Mozambique’s economy. During the visit, the King was introduced to Midal, one of the leading companies operating in the park, as it plays an important role in the regional industrial value chain by transforming Mozambican raw materials into high-value aluminum products that are exported throughout Southern Africa.
In his remarks, King Mswati III emphasized the need for closer collaboration between Mozambique and Eswatini, particularly in expanding trade. He highlighted the logistical advantages of their shared border and underscored the potential for deeper regional integration and cooperation, while positioning industrial development as a key driver of economic transformation.
The visit by His Majesty King Mswati III marks a significant milestone for MozParks. It opened a dialogue on regional and national development strategies, with the shared goal of creating business opportunities, generating jobs for local communities, and strengthening local production capacities across borders.
