MozParks, a subsidiary of ASEZA, is driving a stronger push for industrial transformation in Mozambique through the development and operation of Sustainable Economic Zones that connect global investment with local industry. This momentum is reinforced by ASEZA’s appointment of two new Board Members in June 2026, strengthening leadership at a time when SEZs are becoming key platforms for investment, job creation, and local value addition.

ASEZA welcomes Lethabo Sithole and Jane Grob to its Board, joining Chairman Adrian Frey and Board Members Gregor Binkert, Evaristo Madime, Onório Manuel, and Paulo Gomes. The strengthened Board brings together expertise in industrial development, governance, finance, and sustainability, reinforcing its ability to support long-term industrial growth.
Lethabo Sithole is a development consultant and SEZ specialist, and the Founder and Managing Director of Amila Africa. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Economics (Industrial Development), having previously obtained a Master of Laws from Queen Mary University of London. Her work focuses on the role of institutions and policy in driving industrial development, with a particular emphasis on how stronger systems can enable more inclusive and effective industrial transformation across Africa. She notes, “Industrial transformation in Africa will be driven by the quality of institutions we build, and the discipline with which we execute shared development priorities.”
Jane Grob, Sustainability Director at ASEZA, also joins the Board, reinforcing its focus on sustainability in industrial development. Holding an MBA from Warwick Business School, she brings extensive experience in aligning industrial growth with environmental and social priorities. “It is an honour to join the board of ASEZA. SEZs have a proven ability to transform regional economies and create meaningful opportunities for businesses and communities around them. I am deeply committed to working alongside my fellow board members to ensure these zones deliver the highest possible impact for our industries and communities alike,” says Jane Grob.
Together, the strengthened leadership reinforces a shared direction: building Sustainable Economic Zones that turn investment into real economic impact for Mozambique.
