A Japanese delegation composed of members from the Chambers of Commerce of the cities of Azuchi and Ōmi-Hachiman recently visited the Mozal-Beluluane Industrial Park as part of a mission to strengthen business and cultural connections between Japan and Mozambique and aimed to identify new investment and collaboration opportunities.
The Azuchi Chamber of Commerce organized the visit to boost private sector connections and explore opportunities for trade, investment, and culture. The delegation was hosted by Ashleigh Tsuro, Sales Manager at MozParks, who shared how the company supports industrial growth and sustainability in Mozambique. The delegation also met with leadership of Laresh, one of the park tenants, to see its impact on the industry firsthand.
A key highlight of the visit was the delegation’s interest in Mozambique’s agro-processing industry. They were particularly impressed by the facilities at Mozal-Beluluane Industrial Park, recognizing its potential to drive industrial expansion and economic growth.
This engagement signifies a significant step in strengthening Japan-Mozambique business ties, paving the way for future partnerships and greater collaboration in the private sector.
