HYTEC JOINS THE PARK
Hytec Services Moçambique is part of the German-owned Bosch Rexroth Group and specialises in fluid power and automation. Their services include hydraulic, pneumatic and automation products, repairs and services.
MORE OCCUPANTS JOIN THE PARK
Key players including Hencon, Trentyre and Capital Star Steel join the park.
Other companies include Dendustri Mozambique, Agridelta, Outotec, Cimento Nacional and the Sunshine Nut Company.
MIDAL CABLES ESTABLISH THEIR BUSINESS IN THE PARK
Midal Cables International is a subsidiary of Midal Bahrain, an aluminium & alloy rod, wire & conductor manufacturer.
GODREJ GOUP JOINS THE PARK
Owned by the Godrej Group from India, Darling is a well known brand of synthetic hair products. Godrej relocated its 21-year-old Mozambican operations to Beluluane Industrial Park and employs nearly 2000 people of which 75% are women.
NEW INVESTORS
Beluluane Industrial Park private shares are acquired by Swiss-Mozambican Investors.
BRAND RELAUNCH
Under new management, the park rebrands itself by means of a new logo and visual identity.
LUÍSA DIAS DIOGO JOINS AS CHAIRPERSON
Luísa Diogo was the first female Prime Minister of Mozambique (2004-2010). Prior to that, she served as Minister of Planning and Finance for five years. She also served as Advisor to the Secretary General of the United Nations and was recognised by Times Magazine as one of the hundred most Influential people in the World in 2014. Forbes Magazine also named her one of the hundred most powerful women in the World.
BELULUANE JOBA INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME LAUNCH
The Beluluane JOBA internship programme offers graduates with vocational training and technical qualifications the opportunity to gain on-the-job experience linked to their previous field of study.
FIRST INTERNS GRADUATE
The first group of 67 interns receive their certificates of completion after participating in Beluluane Industrial Park's vocational training programme. By the end of 2019, a further estimated 150 interns will benefit from the programme.
